Inside Sales Admin, Americas

General purpose & summary:

Verimatrix is looking for someone ready to begin their career in a sales admin role, working closely with our Americas Inside Sales Team to upsell existing customers on our hardware and software maintenance/support renewals, licenses renewals, training and other professional services. Additionally, this role would work closely with Accounting and Finance to handle account receivables duties.

Essential duties and responsibilities: 

  • Handle administrative duties
  • Assist with secretarial support to team and manager
  • Assist with call-ins
  • In charge of filing and updating of records
  • Assist Americas Sales Team to process new orders, generate simple quotes
  • Initiate and follow up with potential sales leads through Salesforce.com management system and LinkedIn
  • New account creation and maintenance of existing accounts in Salesforce.com management system
  • Regularly contact customers to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
  • Ensure timely delivery from hardware equipment suppliers, and manage delivery to customers domestically and globally
  • Follow up on legal agreements
  • Other ad-hoc duties when assign

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years sales admin/ customer service experience in some form of technical or retail software/electronics setting, with an interest in emerging technologies
  • Ability to work in a complex, virtual team environment crossing geographic boundaries between our headquarters in San Diego, California and sales team worldwide
  • Ability to achieve goals without constant supervision
  • Sales driven and willing to take on new challenges
  • Good presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent customer-facing skills in-person and over the phone
  • Initially there is no travel involved in this sales position. However, if the position should grow, travel will be required
  • Able to resolve lower-level problems and discretion on when to escalate

Preferred but not required:

  • Salesforce.com experience
  • Marketing experience
  • Event management experience
  • Fluency in a second language is helpful
