Principal Services Engineer – Direct integration, implementation design, configuration, and maintenance of the Company’s client and server solutions that enable content protection and security for video delivered via satellite, cable, or the Internet. Assist customers and partners with integrations of server-to-server solutions, client-to-server solutions on new devices, platforms and networks. Replicate, validate, coordinate and escalate issues to software development, quality assurance, and operations teams to resolve more complex customer installation and support issues. Collaborate with the Product Management, Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to give systems administration perspective on how to improve Company’s products. Generate root cause analysis reports for critical and major customer issues. Required education: Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related. Required experience: 1 year in the job offered or 1 year as a Senior Support Engineer, Senior Programmer. Additional requirements: work experience to include at least 6 months of the following: 1.) Linux, systems administration, database-driven applications; 2.) Network administration and troubleshooting; 3.) Broadcast with cable, satellite, IPTV or Internet streaming technologies for live and on-demand video content. 40 hours/ week. Position requires 15% international and domestic travel.
