Salesforce Administrator

Verimatrix is looking for a sharp, proactive, and knowledgeable administrator to join our Enterprise Applications team. As a Salesforce Administrator, you will work closely with Developers, Administrators, Platform Owners and department stakeholders to take our existing infrastructure to the next level and actualize the new and exciting initiatives planned for our roadmap.

An ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented and thrives in a fluid, high-growth environment. Adhering to best practices is essential, while having the ability to craft out-of-the-box solutions when faced with unique requirements. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills are extremely important for this varied position. This individual will be working closely with the finance team, so knowledge of financial systems is a big plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrate the full Salesforce platform and all integrations, including, but not limited to, Intacct, Xactly, CPQ, Heroku Connect and FormStack.
  • Develop and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, workflow rules, approval process, page layouts, validations rules, custom buttons/links, etc. 
  • Collaborate with Platform Owners and business stakeholders, across all departments, to interpret business and user needs in order to derive efficiency improvements and automation possibilities
  • Assist with Agile story grooming to better define technical configuration changes and translate business criteria into the best possible user experience design
  • Promote continuous improvement by contributing to a collaborative environment that fosters autonomy, transparency, mastery, innovation, and learning
  • Constantly strive for the highest quality, most accurate data
  • Prepare and upload data files into Salesforce using data loader
  • Use AppExchange to research and recommend tools to advance company goals


  • 1-2 years of experience in Salesforce administration
  • Certified Administrator or Advanced Administrator (preferred)
  • Scrum/Agile methodology knowledge a plus
  • Self-directed and a strong drive to see a project through to completion
  • Logical, process oriented thinker with the ability to break things down into digestible chunks
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills with a history of detail orientation
  • Strong communicator who is comfortable interacting with all levels of business
  • Ability to quickly identify business risks, issues, and opportunities
  • Flexible and willing to undertake a variety of challenging tasks and projects
