Customer Service Assistant (with technical backgraound)

The role of Customer Service Assistant at Verimatrix provides support in operations and order fulfillment. You will be an important part of the interface between our customers and our sales teams. The SalesForce CRM system is one of your primary working tools. This position has a great growth potential.

To be successful in this role, you must be professional, proactive, have high level of attention to detail and not be afraid to make suggestions on improvement. We are a global company and appreciate people with global awareness and experience.

Some tasks the Customer Service Assistant will have: 

  • Assist with product deliveries
  • Process purchase orders and support logistics
  • Manage customer and partner requests and provide first response in a timely manner
  • Receive, review and deliver technical documents and software packages
  • Communicate internally across departments and to customers, also handling escalations
  • Maintain good relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications

  • Solid experience with Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience with Linux
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Fluent in English language, other languages are a plus
  • Team player, self-driven, customer-oriented and stress-resistant
  • High attention to detail

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with SalesForce or other similar CRM tool
  • Experience within customer support or software handling
  • Scripting/programming experience
  • Experience with Customs Clearance
  • Knowledge of the German language

This position is based in Ismaning near Munich, Germany and reports to Customer Fulfillment Director.
